Old Queenswoodian, Amanda Elliott, reached the last eight of the junior ITF Uruguay Bowl in Montevideo earlier this year. Amanda was part of a squad of British players at the Grade 2 ITF clay court event, the fourth tournament of a five-week trip across South America.

After five Brits got through their first round singles matches, Amanda followed suit and cruised into the second round on a rainy day in Uruguay.  Amanda, along with fellow Brit Caitlin Steel, then went on to reach the final eight of the girls' singles.
