Tennis
Queenswood has an outstanding reputation for tennis. Our superb facilities and dynamic coaching team place us at the forefront of schools offering tennis. With a total of 27 courts - two indoor, 13 artificial grass and 12 American 'fast-dry' green clay courts - Queenswood is one of the largest centres of its kind in the country and our pupils play all year round.
'Tennis for All' is our ethos. Every girl has the opportunity to develop her skills and techniques and the coaching programme caters for all needs, from those who want to play for enjoyment to high performance players. Queenswood has had many successes in senior and junior national leagues, county leagues and school competitions, winning the National Schools Aberdare Cup on numerous occasions. Many national and international competitions are held at the school during the holidays and spectators are always welcome.
