In Mathematics our aim is to equip girls with the mathematical skills they will need for life in a modern, technological society, prepare them to achieve the best examination grades of which they are capable and to promote an understanding and enjoyment of the subject.
Mathematics is studied by all girls up to GCSE. In the Sixth Form both Mathematics and Further Mathematics are offered, with modules in Pure Mathematics, Mechanics, Statistics and Decision Mathematics available for study over the two years. Technology is encouraged with the use of computers as well as graphic and scientific calculators.
