Queenswood is an independent day and boarding school for girls from 11 to 18. Around 50% of the 416 girls board. Our girls have the opportunity to make tremendous progress in their studies and achieve impressive results.  We are readily accessible, being just 30 minutes from central London and within very easy reach of Heathrow, Stansted and Luton. Girls are encouraged to be independent in their learning, confident of their ability and intellectually curious. Queenswood gives its girls a real sense of identity and the room to develop any number of skills, including leadership. There is a great focus on academic achievement but also on the development of the girls as all-rounders, who are ready to take on anything with self assurance and enthusiasm.

All girls and their diverse talents are valued. The performing arts are central to the experience at Queenswood and there are wonderful facilities for girls who have a particular interest in music and drama. A brand new state of the art theatre, seating 280, gives girls the chance to perform in a really professional environment. Tutored in acting, lighting, sound, set and costume design, girls can take full advantage of an all-inclusive and vibrant theatrical tradition.

Sport is very strong at Queenswood. At least eight sports are played to national level. We encourage everyone to get involved and there is a broad range of sport to choose from ? golf, fencing, trampolining, dance, gymnastics, to name but a few.

While girls are very busy, they do feel at home. The atmosphere is fun, relaxed, cosmopolitan and friendly. The all round confidence the girls gain by being at Queenswood is excellent preparation for the next stage of their education and their careers.
