Queenswood is full of positive energy.   Our overriding aim is the happiness of the girls and we believe they flourish when their uniqueness is recognised and when they have self-belief.   What is so impressive about Queenswood girls is that they achieve so highly academically while also excelling in many other fields. Whether it is performing in our award winning theatre, in concerts or competing in sport, the emphasis is always on enjoyment and participation; the outstanding achievements come from the girls’ enthusiastic engagement. We are determined that they do not feel undue pressure.

There are boundless opportunities for girls who want to join in. This is an exciting place to develop skills and to try new experiences.   We are an international community and we run an exchange programme to South Africa, New Zealand, Australia and Canada so the girls have friends all over the world.

While enjoying the very beautiful site and the supportive atmosphere, the girls are encouraged to increase their knowledge of the world beyond and to be prepared to contribute to it. Our aim is that they will emerge as compassionate, courageous young women, ready to embrace the challenges ahead.
