Queenswood Tennis department organised the annual Wimbledon Museumand All England Tour for Year 7 students on Saturday 28 September. The 25
girls and five staff enjoyed pleasant weather, and were superbly entertained by
one of the All England Club tour guides, Mr Patrick Pilcher.

Mr Pilcher imparted some interesting information on the
history of the club, and of course explained how they maintain the
outstandingly high quality of the grass throughout the championships each
summer.

Girls had the chance to visit the interview room, where some
of them even got to sit in the champions’ seats: what better way to begin the
Queenswood Tennis journey?
