|In boarding we promote the three 'R's – Responsibility, Respect and Resilience.
We strongly believe that fun and friendship should be the foundation of our boarding community. So, we invite you to enter a world where your daughter will be able to embrace diversity, firmly establish her independence while still fostering a sense of care and concern for the community, sample more to achieve more and certainly make friends for life.

Queenswood’s location is second to none. It is very close to London
and to a range of international airports, whilst nestling in the rolling
Hertfordshire countryside. The extensive campus seems a world away from
the bustling capital but in reality is only a 20 minute train ride from
King's Cross. Creative arts, live theatre and sport form a vital part
of the extensive weekend programme, yet so do Bushcraft survival
activities, Laser Mission extravaganzas in the woods, cookery and a
plethora of Art and Craft opportunities.
It is this balance of town and country, individual and community,
physical and spiritual, which contributes to the success of boarding at
Queenswood. What we don’t offer on campus is facilitated elsewhere,
particularly where girls’ expertise rises to national level. This is
clearly demonstrated in our own Tennis Scholar programme but also in
other sports, and in areas such as Music and Art.
There really is something for everyone. Come and see for yourself!
