House Leadership Training

Tuesday 1 July 2014

Lydia Partridge and Olivia Garwood, Hartley, write:

On the 16 June, four members of each House were sent on a day out they would never forget, and we were two of the lucky people involved. In the morning we had a lovely breakfast in the Terrace Room in our Houses and enjoyed a morning of activities and talks, under the guidance of Ms Marrinan and Miss Herson, preparing us for our leadership roles. These activities included making posters about good leaders and trying to get some balloons around an obstacle course with only our blood, sweat, and teamwork.

Later on, we all went down to Euston to enjoy a lovely meal at a fabulous Italian restaurant and then headed off for our afternoon adventure: Hint Hunt, a crime-solving activity that tested not only our teamwork, but also our ability to stay in a small room together for an hour and still maintain our sanity!

Overall, we all had an amazing day, and we all feel prepared for our leadership roles in the year to come.
