Geographers in Iceland

Monday 28 April 2014

30 Queenswood Geography students enjoyed the huge variety of sights and experiences packed into a four-day visit to Iceland in April 2014.

They ate bread and eggs cooked in front of them in the hot springs, relaxed in the hot milky white waters of the Blue Lagoon, walked
behind a huge waterfall, witnessed the geysirs, drove past the
volcano E15 which erupted in 2010, stood on the Mid Atlantic
Ridge where the tectonic plates meet, – just some of the many highlights of very informative and successful trip.
