A Global Community

A Queenswood education offers tremendous opportunities to make connections with communities all over the world. At least thirty nationalities are represented among Queenswood pupils and staff, and we actively celebrate the diversity of cultures in our school.

We are especially proud of our reciprocal links with Konan High School in Kobe, Japan, and with the Maru-a-Pula School in Botswana. Queenswood girls have visited Botswana several times in recent years to support community projects co-ordinated by the children and staff of Maru-a-Pula.

Closer to home, girls from different year groups organise charity fundraising activities throughout the year, as well as becoming involved in community action projects. They volunteer at retirement homes, an over-60s club, a primary school and a school for children with special needs, all of which are found in the local area.
