1st Xl Hockey Captains start season on a high

The performance and attitude of two incredible Hockey Scholars has led to a Queenswood first in the selection of two joint 1st Xl Captains – Chrissy Horn and Alice Wills. Both have had a busy summer performing on the international stage.

Alice Wills was selected to represent England U21 in the European Tournament in Belgium. A brilliant performance led to Alice bringing home a bronze medal and being invited to join the U21 Great Britain Squad: an incredible achievement for a 17-year-old.

Chrissy Horn was selected for the UK School Games to represent England Under 18. The School Games is a prestigious event, hosting the best elite school-age young athletes from around the country in a four-day multi-event competition.
